How to get your Bulacan business on Google Maps (step by step)

The short answer

Google Business Profile is free. It’s the box with your name, map pin, reviews and hours that shows up when people search for a business near them.

If someone in Malolos searches “dental clinic near me”, Google shows a map with a few businesses first. Your profile is how you get into that list.

Step by step

1. Go to google.com/business and sign in with a Google account for the business.
2. Enter your exact business name. Don’t stuff keywords into it; Google can suspend profiles that do.
3. Pick the most specific main category, like “Dental clinic” instead of “Clinic”.
4. Add your address. If you visit customers instead, hide the address and set your service area, like Malolos, Guiguinto and Plaridel.
5. Add your phone number, website and opening hours.
6. Verify the profile. Google will ask for a video, a phone call or a postcard.
7. Add real photos: storefront, inside, team and your work.
8. List your services, with prices where you can.

After it’s live

• Ask every happy customer for a review, and reply to every review.
• Post an update or photo every week or two.
• Keep hours correct, especially on holidays.
• Use the exact same name, address and phone number everywhere online.
