How to get your business recommended by ChatGPT, Gemini and AI search

The short answer

More customers now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity things like “best dental clinic in Malolos” or “magkano website sa Bulacan”. These tools build their answer from pages they can read and trust.

There’s no trick to it. AI tools pick businesses that are easy to understand and that many sources agree on.

On your website

• Answer the question in the first two sentences of each page. No long intros.
• Show real prices in pesos, the towns you serve, and what’s included.
• Add an FAQ with the questions customers actually message you.
• Put dates on pages, like “Updated November 2026”.
• Keep key facts as real text, not only inside images.
• Don’t block AI crawlers in your site settings.

Off your website

• Create and complete your Google Business Profile.
• List your business on trusted directories for your industry.
• Answer questions honestly in Facebook groups and forums, without spamming.
• Get mentioned in local news or “best of” lists.
• Keep your business name, description and prices the same everywhere.

How to check if it’s working

Once a month, ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity the questions your customers would ask. Write down whether your business shows up, and what they say about you. Fix anything they get wrong on your own site first.
